Iraq (February 2012) - Samsung Electronics official dealer for mobile phones, Jibal Company, recently announced its placement as the best Samsung mobile distributor in the Levant region for the year 2011.

Jibal company won first place among Samsung dealers in the region, for its outstanding sales performance in 2011, through the utilization of a strategic long term plan along with a set of marketing tools and programs and unique after sale service, which all contributed to increasing Samsung’s market share in Iraq.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. SangSok Roh, President of Samsung Electronics Levant said, "Nine years ago since our partnership with Jibal started, they have demonstrated great efforts to increase Samsung’s market share in the Iraqi market, and accordingly increase awareness and demand for Samsung’s smart phones."

From his end, Mr. Manar Jameel, CEO of Jibal Samsung’s dealer for mobile phones in Iraq said, "This recognition from Samsung towards our efforts is greatly appreciated, which is the fruit of a dedicated team’s efforts.
